Why Youtube (Get Ready for The Video Revolution!)

For starters, Youtube has the majority market share (over 55%) of all Video-Sharing Website (like Vimeo, Viddler, Metacafe, etc).  So, if we focus 80% of our efforts on Youtube, we’ll get some fantastic results.  But there are a few other reasons as well.

  • Google owns and loves Youtube
  • Youtube is very user-friendly
  • Youtube Videos are extremely easy to share
  • The Average Youtube Viewer spends a minimum of 15 min. a day watching videos
  • And bottom line: Youtube is proven to work!

In this first CRUCIAL Step, it’s all about developing a BIG Picture Strategy and uncovering EXACTLY what you videos you need to create based on your customers’ needs.  What are your prospects searching for on a daily basis?  How can you be found every time they “Google” you?  It all starts with Keyword Research!  Using Google’s “Keyword Research Tool,” we can uncover the EXACT keywords and keyword phrases that your audience is searching on a daily basis.  Create a list of 30 highly-searched keywords and turn those words into your “Video Shot-List!”  Easy, right?!

Step #2 is all about the video creation process!  Here we focus on how to create videos of value!  Production value, the cost of your camera, and what type of lighting you have is not nearly as important as the VALUE you deliver with your actual videos.  Answer the questions and concerns that your viewers have!  Don’t hesitate to give them some of your “best tips” and information absolutely free!  The best strategy is to create a large sum of videos in an afternoon and then upload one a week for the next 10-12 weeks at a time!  This consistency creates incredible momentum and exponential results!
